In recent years, the emphasis on values education has gained significant traction, particularly in the context of the K to 12 curriculum in the Philippines. Republic Act No. 11476 institutionalizes Good Manners and Right Conduct, highlighting the importance of fostering core behavioral values among elementary school students. This action research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a values education program, referred to as “The Manners Lab (TML),” in enhancing the core behavioral values of Grade 3 learners at Macario Espanola Memorial School. The quality-assured TML was used for two (2) grading periods as intervention tool composed of learning materials and pedagogical tools on ethics for learners The study specifically focused on four (4) core values: Maka-Diyos (Godliness), Makatao (Humanity), Makakalikasan (Environment), and Makabansa (Patriotism). The research employed a pre-intervention and post-intervention assessment to evaluate changes in students’ behavioral observations related to the core value.
